ARE MY FAVORITE GROUP IM FROM THE PHILLY AREA IN THE

NICE TREAT TO SEE ONE OF THE BEST LIVE BANDS EVER OUT

Who in their
right mind would want to see 60-ish year old geezers
trying to strut their "stuff" on stage.
The Kinks as a group ceased to exist nine years ago, (really
before that when Mick left the group). To use a
Stones disc title, "We used to love them, but
it's all over now."

I've
seen these guys nearly 30 times over the years, last
time was I think 1995 here in Clearwater. While all my
buddies growing up followed the beatles & stones,
I gravitated towards the kinks. I am recently
re-married and my wife has never experienced a live
kinks show. If they decide to tour one more time,
we'll travel just about anywhere.

Why
They are the best live band ever

The Kinks have be unrecognized highly influential to
a lot of musicians, including myself. Been playing
for 40 years and still the old Kinks remain to be
one of my favourite. Ray's writing is unbeatable and
beside Paul Simon, no one writes lyrics like he does.
I opened up for them in 1967 in Holland in Utrecht.
Hopefully I can do that again whenever they do the
reunion tour here in California

Yes I want to see
the kinks play again. Even if I might not be able to
see them live at all, being this far away in
Argentina. I've just been listening to the underrated
UK Jive and it shows me that they have a lot to offer
yet. To The Bone (2CD edition) was also a great
sounding album. I listen to that all the time.
I also enjoyed Phobia. In songs here and there you see
that Ray has a lot to say. I want to hear him say them
again, and I want Dave to be by his side...

I want to see the
Kinks play again for a couple of good reasons.
1.The Kinks are one of the most amazing bands in the
history of rock music.
2.They are a
blast and the world needs to experience them
again.
3. I have been
going to see international rock acts since 1969 and
have yet to see the Kinks, although I saw Ray solo a
couple of years ago.
