exceptions. But there has not been any official
announcement on the status of the tour, so it's

Manchester Evening News announce that Ray Davies has been forced to postpone his
his concert in Bridgewater October 31 following advice from his

today presented with an Icon award for his enduring
influence on generations of music makers.
Davies accepted the award in person,
thanking his bandmates for their inspiration.
"It's always great to be able to accept things like
this for the guys in the band as well," he said. "They
were great. They were my muse."
